'The Help' at Wells, Nevada

The little remarked upon grade east of Wells, Nevada is stiff enough that, until well into the diesel era, many trains required helpers. Below, please find the X9216E, with help on the rear from the 8425, grinding up the hill out of Wells in June, 1972.
