Southern Pacific Brooklyn Roundhouse Turntable Replacement, 1925

In 1925, Southern Pacific swapped out the 85 foot turntable at its Brooklyn (Portland, Oregon) roundhouse with a 100 foot version, as seen in these postcard photographs. Loco #1384 in the second photo was retired the same year and appears to have already been set aside. That's an ex-2-6-2T commuter engine hiding behind the crane in the third image - Brooklyn shop switcher number MW566, which was converted to an 0-6-0T in 1917. Thanks go to John Sweester for ferreting out the dimensions for the old and new turntables.
