Granada's old city from The Alhambra, the Moorish casle & palace which was appropriated by Ferdinand and Isabella in 1492 for Christian activities. This was the Moors' last stronghold on the Iberian Peninsula. Subsequent Spanish royalty built palaces and cathedrals within the complex.
